Programme ObjectiveThis full redeveloped course will introduce the participants to the most common national and international employee benefit schemes and their accounting implications:Performance Bonus, Benefits in kind, Long-term service rewards, Retirement awards (deferred contribution and defined benefit plans)Share-based payments (equity and cash settled) Additionally the course will focus on recognition and measurement of legal payments of termination benefits, gardening leave, compensation of loss of workspace, good and bad leaver provisions etc.All benefits and their accounting implication will be discussed based on practical hands-on examples and case studies. For the more complex topics the view of the Singaporean Inland Revenues Authority will be explained and illustrated. The course will additionally cover the accounting for any deferred taxes resulting from different views between FRS and Singapore Tax Code on any of the fore standing topics
